The role

  • Managing existing, and developing new, relationships with senior investment consultants, both fiduciary managers and advisory consultancies, as well as professional trustees in order to expand the growth of investors on the AMX platform.
  • Work closely with the existing business development team in order to achieve platform growth by supporting the development of strategic business opportunities
  • Use your industry experience and network to create lead generation opportunities within the investment consultant universe.
  • Chair and manage the preparation of investment consultant meetings with both senior and mid-level individuals.
  • Diligently supporting a pipeline of active opportunities to move them through a defined sales process – ensuring CRM pipeline, management analytics and databases are up to date.
  • Developing and enhancing the messaging, pitch and commercial proposition to investment consultants and trustees, including managing responses to questionnaires and RFPs. from investment consultants
  • Supporting the product development and launch of asset class solutions such as LDI and private markets on the platform

The requirements

  • Significant experience and track record in a consultant relations & business development role (preferably 10 years or more), working with fiduciary managers and advisory investment consultants.
  • The candidate will be educated to degree level and ideally has a relevant industry qualification (IMC/CFA/Actuary)
  • Strong technical understanding of key asset classes used by institutional investors in the pensions market
  • Able to forge relationships and credibility quickly and effectively
  • Ability to engage and communicate effectively across the business
  • Self-motivated and organised with ability to manage and prioritise multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Team player who is flexible and adaptable across a range of tasks

The Role

  • Executing the end-to-end production and delivery of weekly, monthly and quarterly fund and client deliverables for our clients ensuring they are delivered accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for drafting and updating procedures on an ongoing basis ensuring tasks are consistently documented and reflected to allow top rate accuracy, quality and timeliness of reports and data delivery to clients whilst mitigating risk.
  • Produce scheduled and ad hoc fund and client reports, including investment reports, regulatory reports and factsheets.
  • Supporting the execution of projects for the Client Reporting Workflow Transformation.
  • Attending pre-fund launch meetings to understand fund reporting requirements and work to implement these to BAU.
  • Working with areas of expertise around the business to manage routine and/or complex ad-hoc queries, data requests and client change, through to completion in line with client expectations.
  • Assisting in the provision of data to internal and external parties as well as managing supplier relationships including SLA/service monitoring.

The Requirements

  • University degree in a related and relevant subject is required.
  • 5-10 years’ experience in an asset / investment management firm or similar relevant experience.
  • Qualification or part qualification in ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, CAIA or similar would be advantageous.
  • Ability to engage at all levels, to address complex topics, to conduct meetings in a structured manner and to minute and circulate follow-up actions.
  • Strong working knowledge of current investment, market and economic issues.
  • Good understanding of different investment vehicles, including ICAV, CCFs, UCITS and other international fund structures.
  • Working knowledge of MiFID and ESG reporting regulatory for UK, European and global clients would be beneficial.

The role

  • Management of Audit processes, including;
  • Coordinating with external Audit firms and financial reporting teams of Fund Administration firms
  • Oversight on preparation of IFRS and US GAAP compliant Financial Statements for a number of legal entities across several jurisdictions.
  • Presenting to the boards of the relevant fund vehicles.
  • Implementation and review of fund budgets across multiple fund vehicles. Liaise with a number of internal departments and external service providers on pricing.
  • Oversight of expense processing in line with contracts and regulatory standards.

This role will be part of the AMX client experience team which aims to deliver best in class service, and you will also collaborate across the AMX business to further develop our onboarding processes to ensure our clients are provided a smooth and efficient transition process.  This is a great opportunity to be part of a team that is developing its client experience vision and strategy to deliver an incredible, seamless experience to our investors.

The role 

  • Primarily responsible for supporting the onboarding and transitions manager with the take-on process for pooled fund investors
  • Proactively liaising with all parties both externally and internally to ensure a smooth and efficient transition process. This includes custodians, transition managers and client consultants
  • Work collaboratively with other functional areas of AMX
  • Liaise with AMX’s appointed Administrator(s) to arrange for the set-up of client portfolios and ensuring that the necessary linkages are in place from an operational perspective.
  • Establish servicing and operating processes with the client’s appointed third party representatives.
  • Support the process of sending regular, clear and detailed updates to the business with regards to the status of on-going transition activity.
  • Conduct post-transition evaluation and hand-over meetings with the relevant departments internally.
  • Set-up of client portfolios, internal funds and other records on AMX’s internal CRM systems.
  • On-going maintenance of static information within AMX internal systems in relation to client portfolios and internal funds

The requirements 

  • Proven experience of working in an onboarding function
  • Previously worked in implementation teams in consultancy firms or in onboarding/transition teams for an asset manager.
  • High level of attention to detail applied to all tasks – excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills to build relationships with our investors, managers and partners.
  • Positive attitude, initiative and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment for the timely and successful onboarding and transition of new clients onto the AMX Platform, including the co-ordination of existing clients into new AMX funds.
  • Proactive attitude that will rise to the challenge of taking a role within the Client Experience team, with a focus on investor onboarding.

The Role

  • Manage external counterparty and money market fund provider relationships both day to day, and through the onboarding of new funds and regular due diligence.
  • Manage internal stakeholder relationships in relation to fund cash returns, fund counterparty onboarding and fund exposure.
  • Onboarding of new counterparty legal documents working with the AMX legal team to set up new prime broker agreements, International Swaps and Derivatives Association agreements (ISDA) & credit support annexes (CSA).
  • Management of Dodd Frank and ISDA protocol adherence for all funds, matching counterparties in IHS Markit.
  • Opening and management of Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), ownership and control reporting (OCR), counterparty reference data utility (CRD), IHS Markit and other regulatory accounts at both a platform and fund level.
  • Monitor excess cash balances on across AMX platforms and individual funds, looking for opportunities to improve cash allocations to the benefit of the fund manager and investors.
  • Assist with ongoing due diligence team of prime brokers and counterparties.
  • Liaising with the risk team to set and monitor internal/external limits on cash management and money market fund / collective investment scheme investments.
  • Minor foreign exchange trade execution and cash movements.
  • Implementation of processes and controls for regulatory reporting such European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR) and Securities Financing Transactions Regulation (SFTR).
  • Initiate and complete projects focused on simplifying and improving AMX portfolio manager experiences in relation to cash management and counterparty onboarding.
  • Assist with ongoing review of performance, strategy and outlook of existing portfolio managers.

The Requirements

  • University degree in a related and relevant subject
  • 3-5 years’ experience in an asset / investment management firm or similar relevant experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Ability to focus on more than one project at a time
  • Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
  • Experience with cash reconciliations and accounting principals
  • Experience in Treasury front and/or back office, trade execution and settlement
  • Knowledge of financial markets, various fund strategies, and market restrictions
  • Knowledge of the portfolio management process and core activities within investment management advantageous
  • Base knowledge of various counterparty legal agreements (ISDA/CSA etc.) and Dodd Frank Protocols.
  • Knowledge of HIS Markit, Hazeltree and DTCC systems/portals a plus
  • Demonstrated expertise with MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
